Laura has been in the salon world since she was 12, starting out sweeping floors and falling in love with the industry from day one. She completed her apprenticeship at 19 and, with big dreams   bought Sophistacut Hair Salon at just 23. Laura’s all about creating a welcoming space with great energy and even better hair. She loves every part of hairdressing, but her specialty is ‘lived-in’ colour and creative cutting—natural, effortless looks that grow out beautifully and suit your lifestyle. She is available Tuesday and Friday.

Michelle

Senior Stylist

Michelle has been hairdressing since she was 16 and brings years of experience to the salon. As Laura’s mum, she’s a big part of the salon’s heart and history. Michelle loves all aspects of hairdressing, but it’s the long-term connections with her clients that she treasures most. With her bubbly energy, warm smile, and incredible skills, every appointment with Michelle feels like catching up with an old friend—with amazing hair as a bonus.

She is available in the salon  Monday, Wednesday and    Thursday.

Natalie

Senior Stylist

Natalie is a talented senior stylist who brings experience, creativity, and genuine warmth to every appointment. Skilled in all aspects of hairdressing, she has a special love for foiling and creative cutting, always aiming to craft looks that suit her clients’ style and personality. Natalie values the connection she builds with each person in her chair, creating a relaxed, welcoming vibe while delivering beautiful results. She’s available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays—perfect for anyone looking for expert haircare with a personal touch.

Brooke

Senior Stylist

Brooke is a senior stylist with over 12 years of experience and a reputation for delivering consistently stunning results. Her foiling work is precise and seamless, creating beautiful, dimensional colour that’s tailored to each client. She  creates    bouncy blowdries and effortless upstyling, perfect for events, nights out, or just a little extra glam. With a warm, professional approach and a deep love for her craft, Brooke brings both skill and creativity to every appointment. She is available on a rotating roster once a week.

Izzy

Semior Emerging Stylist

Izzy is our senior emerging stylist and she is in her third year of her    apprenticeship. She has developed a strong foundation in hairdressing and continues to refine her craft with passion and precision. She excels in foiling and colour work, consistently delivering beautiful, customised results that reflect her clients’ unique styles. With a natural flair for styling, she brings creativity and confidence to every look she creates. As she continues to grow in her career, she’s currently looking to welcome more haircut guests to expand her experience and showcase her evolving skills.

Josie

Junior Emerging Stylist

Josie is our    junior emerging stylist and she is in her first year of her apprenticeship.   She is quickly building her skills and confidence in the salon. She’s currently focused on her global colour and blowdry clients, bringing care and attention to every service she offers. Josie is passionate about learning and growing in her craft, with a warm, friendly approach that makes every client feel welcome. As she develops her experience, she’s looking for models   to support her training journey. She has different promotions running  monthly.

Imogen

Senior Stylist

Imogen has been in the hair industry for 5 years, with a true passion for creating stunning blondes, foils, and balayage colours. Her bubbly, fun attitude makes every appointment feel like a catch up with a friend, while her expert skills leave clients with flawless, colour results. Whether you're looking for a fresh blonde glow or a gorgeous, natural balayage, Imogen's your go-to stylist for all things blonde and beautiful! She is available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Friday.
